Explaining to a friend.....

So basically my friend knows nothing about computers, but a lot about cars, a lot hes into mechanics, I know generals about mechanics. So here is how I explained it to him.

Power Supply- Its like the engine of the car supplies its power to everything.
MotherBoard-Is like the chassis of the car the foundation were everything goes.
CPU-Is like the transmission and gearbox, without a good transmission and gearing you wont get the power and speed you want.
RAM-Is like the gas tank the more RAM the bigger gas tank, the more MHZ on the ram the better the fuel you put in.
Fans- Radiator (obviously)
Video-Card-Is like your windows and headlights, without good clear windows you wont be able to see the road crystal clear, and at night wont be able to see.
CD/DVD Drive-Steering Wheel, allows you to input cds to get data to you computer, sort of like making turns on the steering wheel operates the wheels and so forth.
HardDrive-He knows what this is and can't really relate to a car.
Case-The looks of your car, the cars body.

Hope I didnt miss anything, and hope this helps your mechanical friends as well.
