Urgent Help Needed Please

  1. Hi All
  2. I'm new to this.....
  3. I've built my perfect computer, or so i thought
  4. MOTHERBOARD: INTEL DX48BT2
  5. PROCESSOR: QUAD CORE EXTREME QX9770 3.2 Ghz
  6. RAM: 4 X 2GB DDR3 10666
  7. 2 x SATA 2 WESTERN DIGITAL 500 GB HDD's
  8. ICUTE 1000W PSU
  9. LG BLUE RAY / HD DVD PLAYER - SATA
  10. SONY DVD PLAYER/RE WRITER
  11. WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE 64
  12. ATI SAPPHIRE 3880 x 2 1 GB DDR3 RAM (3880 i think)
  13. Dont think i've missed anything.
  14. Anyway, got vista to install first time, but took 2 attempts so had Vista x 2 on 1 HDD, Vista didnt recognise the second HDD.
  15. Reformatted the second HDD NFTS so Vista recognised it, but then started having problems. System keeps shutting down.
  16. Installed INTEL software
  17. Installed Regcure & found 20,000 errors, so decided to start again.
  18. Now i cant get windows to load, it keeps shutting down half way through installation. Not to mention i cant get the RAID format to work.
  19. I took out the battery from the Motherboard, left for a while & put back in incase that was the problem, but still, i cant get RAID & cant install windows.
  20. F2 detects HDD's, but RAID does not.
  21. Connections are as follows :-
  22. HDD1 - SATA1
  23. HDD2 - SATA2
  24. BLUERAY - SATA3
  25. DVD - SATA4
  26. I thought it maybe my graphics card overheating, but i cant see it as i had multiple fans in a cold room with the case open keeping it cool.
  27. Any help is much appreciated, because as it stands I'm stuch with an ATX Tower that is non functional.
  28. All other periferals seems to work fine by the way, maybe its the way i've set things up (its my first time)
  29. Thanks
  30. Andrew
