Front Panel Headers?
Ok so I'm stuck. In the front panel there is headers that I'm uncertain where they plug in. I'm not sure what they're connected to either (Could be the usb, power switch, audio plugs, etc etc). Anyways it's plugged into one of those, and on the end of it is two 1 pin connectors, they're labeled with a "+" on one, and a "-" on the other. They're also twisted together. I'm unsure what they do, and where they go... Also, my graphics card came with a cord, on one end of the cord is a 2 pin connector, and on the other end is two 1 pin connecters (basically the same as the cord I was just talking about) but these two 1 pin connectors have NO labels on them. So I have no idea where they plug in. The 2 pin connector has a port on the graphics card though, so there's ovbiously somewhere to plug it in that I can't figure out where. Ok thanks, if you need any more info just let me know. P.S my case is:
CoolerMaster Centurion 5 RC-T05SSR2 with 460w PSU Silver my graphics card: Albatron GeForce 9600GT 512M DDR3 HDTV Dual DVI TV Out DirectX10 and my mobo: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L P45+ICH10 DDR2 1200 1600MHz PCI-E 2.0 SATAII GLA thanks! |

Re: Front Panel Headers?
Look in the case and mobo manual to see where your front panel headers hook up. They probably include all you listed, and maybe firewire...they connect to the pins usually found at the bottom of your motherboard (below the last PCI slot). Follow the directions that came with both pieces and you should be fine.
The small connector that came with your VGA card is to hook up to the S/PDIF header on your motherboard which allows you to get sound through the HDMI adapter that was probably included with your card as well. Look in your mobo manual for where to hook that up (if you want it). |
