Building a new computer. Would like recommendations, and or if anyone sees any flaws let me know.

Price range is 1000$(maybe 50$ over for shipping only).

Quad Core Build (Intel) Better, maybe a little over on the Power Supply 600W would be fine.

Take a look at the E8400 instead of the Q6600
For a power supply look at this one it'll give you some overhead for future upgrades

You may also want to look at a P35 chip set instead of the G31

I'd also be sticking with a 512 mb version of the GT unless you have a gargantuan monitor...in which case I would probably be upping the VGA card anyways...
