Need to build a quadcore

looking to build a quadcore or atleast buy 1 off ebay I got about a 800-1000 dollar limit i do have a 550w antec tp trio psu but i don't know if that can hold up to quad core standards. I do like playing games and currently haven't really upgraded in years since 2000. i play wow but i get memory errors since i only have 1g ram and 1.67 processor. please give me a couple listing for that price range thx!.

hello and welcome first of all post your specs pls you nedd a decent system to make the quadcore do its magic i recomend that you upgrade to atleast 2 GB RAM and send me a link to that power supply ok now :i recomend the Q6660 -9400-Q9450

i am giving my current comp away i just wanna build a good fast decent lasting comp. so i need to know great quad core plus graphics and ram to match it.

While that is a fine power supply, we can't tell whether it will do the job for you unless we know what video card you are planning on running. Please list that for us.

i have not a clue im asking you guys to help out with the rest of the info so i can buy it within the price range. like ur suggestions for a quad core setup and if that psu will work.
