Help, new build- blank screen strange beeps?

Hello all, hoping someone can help me out here...I just constructed my first computer from scratch, and am trying to get to the bios screen. Here is what I put together:

E8400 Intel Core 2 Duo processor

Asus p5k pro motherboard

Asus LightScribe 20x drw-2014L1T dvd +- R/RW Drive SATA

Antec EARTHWATTS 500w power supply atx12 v2.2

2x2gb gskill ddr2 1066 ram sticks

Visiontek x1550 pci-e 256mb

Wester Digital 500 GB hdd SATA

I can't get the screen to show anything. The beeps are weird too...the book has 4 possible beep patterns...
Mine has one short beep, 5 second pause, then another short beep followed by nothing. It is not on that list. Have tried using only 1 stick of ram, I have tried both sticks in all the ram slots with the same result. I have switched out the graphics card with a different one and there was no difference. I have tried reconnecting things with no success.
I know my monitor is good because I have been using it on my last computer for years.
