First comp build. Are they compatible?
Hey, im buying a new computer. Reasonable price of $610 for what im going for but it seems a little cheap for what im expecting it to do.
Proccesor http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0283289 Video card http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0281107 Case http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0232152 Hard drive http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0264209 Ram (Memory) http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0279216 Motherboard http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0289205 Case (with power supply) http://microcenter.com/single_produc...uct_id=0232152 Getting a 32bit home vista OS with it. Anything im missing? are they able to be used with eachother? Any reccomendations on something that would go better? Thank you for your time. |

Re: First comp build. Are they compatible?
seems fine, everything should work together.
but i might recommend a better PSU because with the case its 50 dollars, and man thats pretty cheap also its a 450 watt, so most likely it'll be trash. |

Re: First comp build. Are they compatible?
That what you reccomend i get for my specs? What if i built this computer with the built in power supply and later when i had the money to spare, replaced it with that one. Would it be that hard to switch? is it simple plug and go?

Re: First comp build. Are they compatible?
Microcenter has good prices on some things, not on others...and their in store specials can beat newegg...I think they also pricematch...
I would not recommend that graphics card...IMHO it's better to get 512 mb of GDDR3 than 1gb of GDDR2. ~P Last edited by patriothntr; 06-27-2008 at 06:22 AM. |
