Some helpful advice would be much appreciated
Hey, this will be my first time building a computer. Some helpful advice of what else I should get or compatibility issues are greatly appreciated

Here are a couple of thoughts:
Zap the Zalman and go for either a Corsair, a PC Power & Cooling, a Seasonic, or a Thermaltake "Toughpower" power supply. With this setup, an ASUS P5K-e Wi/Fi board would do a nice job for you.
