Mother Board for hardcore gaming?

Hi all,
Im planning to build a new computer for extreme gaming ( games like Call of Duty 4, Crisis etc..). Please help me choose a mother board
( with or without SLI ) with which i could play these games in high graphics and good performance. Earlier i was suggested P5NE-SLI, but i don't feel that's a good motherboard. suggest me some good motherboard that costs equal to P5NE-SLI ( not more than that). Also tell me how about Intel DG33 as it is within my budget. Is
it suitable for gaming?

configuration that i've decided.
Processor = E8400 core 2 Duo 3ghz.
Graphic Card = XFX 8800 GT. 512mb.
Ram = DDR2 (800mhz.) 4gb.
Hard Disk = Sata 500gb.
Motherboard = ??????????????? here i'm left with no idea. Please help me.

Thanx in advance.
