I agree. An 8800GT can run everything including Crysis on highest settings in DX9. Mind you if you have DX9 the highest setting for Crysis is disabled, the "high setting" is actually the highest. In DX10 you can change the setting to very high...but I really don't think the eye candy is worth spending the money on a second video card.
On most benchmarks I've seen, the 8800GT actually outperforms the 8800GTS 640 Whichever you decide to go with I would definitely get an SLI board just in case you decide to upgrade somewhere down the line. Last edited by 0siris85 : 05-26-2008 at 05:29 PM. |

I also agree, the dual 8800 scenario is not worth the cost you will endure. Get an sli board and hold for now with the one 8800.
