Need advice on what to upgrade
I built a computer way back when i didnt have a job, not TOP OF THE LINE, but good for gaming, looking to upgrade to improve gaming performace, here is what i got
Manufacturer: Custom Mobo:Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe A64-939 Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM Hard Drive: 79 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Monitor: shitty crt Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy Speakers/Headphones: Keyboard: Standard Dell Mouse: Logitech g5 Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254) A few questions, and please, any sugggestions you have, tell me, any help is appreciated! -harddrive looks like the biggest concern to me, but is it? I play many games so is this my first priority getting a bigger hdd -i think proc and mobo are fine, are they? -Should i upgrade to vista? Halo 3 may come out and may be vista, is vista the way to go, or stay xp pro? -monitor and keyboard should me the last things i upgrade? You tell me lol im not sure, and if you have suggestions im on a budget so im looking for cheap monitor/cheap keyboard, lcd/gaming Any suggestions/Questions/Comments are appreciated, Thanks fellas
