New Build (Cpu, ram, mobo)

Hey guys.

I am working on a new build (this will just be cpu, ram and mobo). Everything from the computer minus those components will be reused as there really is no point to upgrading them at the moment. First off this system is intended to be an AMD system just like every other system I have ever built. My past 4 or so builds have been on Abit platforms as I have had bad experiences with Asus. I looking to spend around $500-$600 on these upgrade with tax and shipping to Jersey. I have been doing a lot of research as of late to get up to speed on the quad cores, but I am having a heck of a time finding a board and ram that I like. (I have used Crucial Ballistix for years, and I am currently using OCZ platinum)

CPU (AMD Quad Core 9750)

Motherboard (This is just two that I have found that I somewhat like.)

GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-DS4

ABIT AX78

Ram (This is only what I have been looking at, I do not have my heart set on anything as of yet.)

Mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)

Like I said in the ram title, I don't really have anything set in stone. I am fairly confident that I am going to go AMD again. I have never been much of an Intel fan.

Please Advise
Thanks, Chris
