Confused gaming computer assistance

My daughter has a Celeron 2.53Ghz with 760megs of ram running winxp.
She has been playing a lot of games on her pc as of late. The last one requires a Gforce3 or Radeon 8500 video card or better.
I thought that rather than adding more and more to this computer I would get her one that would be mainly a decent gaming computer.
I would greatly appreciate some suggestions on what I should get or build.
Processor, ram, video and audio cards etc.
I have bought 3 computers through Pricewatch and have been happy with my purchases.
If you know of a better and or more economic site, I would appreciate that info as well.
I do not have a whole lot to spend so, I would like to get the most bang for the buck.
Thank you,
Holise
