Re: Are these good upgrade choices?

Nice computer and antec makes great cases but do you need to spend that much on a case? I guess if you like it and your willing to pay, then why not.

Overall good choice of parts.

Here's a more powerful power supply to consider that ends up a little cheaper.

Re: Are these good upgrade choices?

While the Real Power Pro is a very good power supply, with what you want eventually in a video card, you might want to look to a PC Power & Cooling 750 or a Thermaltake "Toughpower", or a Corsair 750. All three of these are IMHO, stronger than the Real Power Pro Supply.

Re: Are these good upgrade choices?

I see no reason why it would not, but not that familar with that combination, so be sure to check to make sure that it will. Maybe someone else has the case with that card can offer an opinion.

Re: Are these good upgrade choices?

those are some of the best choices, i have a q6600 there great!! but you NEED an aftermarket heatsink and fan those things get hot and my case has crap ventilation, i took one side off (the protected side, *** of the motherboard side) and have a fan blowing on in, on full it also keeps my ram cool which gets hotter than the cpu, but yeah that case seems to have good ventilation but if your gonna OC (overclock) get an aftermarket heatsink and fan, reccomending zalman 9600 pro, good ones, i dont have one but i sure want one!
