Re: computer won't turn on

Hi,
Make sure that you are not grounding your motherboard. It should only be touching your case via the mounting brackets at the screw-hole locations. Make sure you don't have a bracket, possibly offset by the older motherboards screw hole layout, touching your board in a non-screw hole location. If that makes any sense?

Re: computer won't turn on

Hi Scogger,

I recently built a computer for a friend with the same system. The end problem was the power supply, which came DOA. I determined it was the power supply by testing it with a multimeter and finding out that there was no Power_Good signal present.

If you are unfamiliar with power supply testing or do not have a multimeter, see if you can swap in a known good power supply.

Also, please post your entire system specs.
