Trying to see if these parts are compatible, worth it
Exactly what the topic says, about to build my first computer so was wondering if the following are compatible/worth it for the price.

Budget: How much money are you willing to spend on the new build? 1000 Max 2. Brands: Are there any brands of components you want or don't want?Want intel 3. Multitasking: Will you be multitasking with this computer and if so, how much?yeah, games, programming, graphic desigh 4. Gaming: Will you be gaming and if so, how much and how new are the games?cod4, crysis, wow/ gaming a lot 5. Calculations: Will you be doing any intense calculations or media encoding?probably not intense so no 6. Overclocking: Do you plan on overclocking and if so, how much? nope 7. Storage: How much storage will you need and what will you be storing?the hard drive i picked is fine 8. Legacy Support: Will you need support for older hardware like parallel, serial, or PS/2 devices? no ps/2 devices, unsure what parallel or serial means. 9. Case: Do you want help selecting a case and if so, how big do you want it?the one i picked is perfect 11. Accessories: Do you want a keyboard, mouse, or other items included?nope 12. Recycled Components: Will you be reusing any components you already have?nope 13. Monitor: If you want a monitor, what size do you want and should it be widescreen?nope 14. Stores: Do you hvae any online stores that you prefer to purchase from?nope 15. Location: What country do you live in? USA a) what do you want to do with this new system / if you game how serious a gamer are you ?Games/programing/graphic design..play games for just fun, but i do love the best graphics b) which level do you "want" your system to be mid-level / performance / ultra performance. what i picked is fine, i think c) anticipated budget >>>> we can give suggestions for complete builds in the $1000.00 range all the way to the Uber $2,800.00 machine $1000.00 Max d) what are the specs of the system you are using now ? dont have a computer atm |

Actually you can, All that post states is that they will not give help on how to do it. I've already did it on a friend of mines PC. Also I never asked for help on how to do it. I just stated it in the question because it asked it.

It's more longer showing up as $69.99 after $50 rebate. It's now $119 after $50 rebate.

Diddy, if you have the cash here's a great deal, but the sale ends Sunday.
Cooler Master Real Power Pro 650w $50 after $50 rebate. http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0265147 BTW the Real Power Pro or IGreen series are the only acceptable offerings from Cooler Master. Same goes for the ToughPower series from Thermaltake, and GameXstream from OCZ. Acceptable Antec offerings are the Trio, Earthwatts, and Neo series. |
