computer upgrade
I wanted to upgrade my computer to be able to play the last 3d games.
I upgraded my video card, increases my ram and upgraded the bios But instead my computer now hangs few minutes after playing a game, or any program that require resources, preceded by a increasing noise from the computer I’m sure there is no software problem. Can you help please? |

Clear your CMOS to reset any memory settings back to their defaults. Download Memtest86 and run that so it gets about 10 passes. Post back if it finds any errors.

Hi there
I tried to perform the test, but again there was an increased noise from the computer the the test hangs at: pass 30% test 17% test N: 7 also errors was 0 L1 cash 128 kb L2 cash 512 kb memory 1536 mb I waited about half an hour after that with no changes, as usual the only solusion is to restart the computer!!!! What can I do now?????? |

Can you describe this noise please? Run the test again and see if you can determine where specifically inside the computer the noise is coming from.
