First time build.Can someone recomend a sound card???

Can someone recomend a sound card to me?
This is my first time building a computer.

Most motherboards have onboard sound, usually pretty decent.
Once you get it built then see if you can live with onboard sound
or not....

The Creative X-Fi Xtreme audio is a good value and has good sound quality but there have been some bugs between the Creative Chipsets and some motherboard chipsets, particularly the nForce chipsets. Unfortunately Creative also only has the only hardware accelerated sound cards. Research your hardware to see if there have been any problems with the Creative cards on your chipset.

My motherboard has integrated Creative audio and my girlfriend's PC has a Create SB Live 24-bit. Both work rather well and with great quality.
