Building PC Is this stuff all compatible?
Hey all. I've got a PC I'm planning to build, I was just hoping someone could tell me if it's all compatible and if there are any slight changes to be made (whether compatibility-wise or something to save a little money).
CASE: $80 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16811144151 GRAPHICS CARD: $100 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16814130285 PSU: $100 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16817371002 PROCESSOR: $175 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16819115030 RAM: $85 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820231098 HDD: $80 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16822136037 DVD-Drive: $30 http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16827248008 How's that? Is all of that compatible, and are there any changes anyone recommends? I'm not looking for an expensive desktop. Just something better than my laptop. For HDD, I wouldn't mind a 10,000rpm one, but I want at least a 150HDD and I don't want to pay more for anything. The prices for this stuff is the max I wish to pay. If it helps with the build, here's my laptop's specs: Dual 1.8GHz Intel Processor ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 HyperMemory 512MB 2GB RAM Thanks:) |

Re: Building PC Is this stuff all compatible?
Yeah, lol. I just noticed I didn't have a mobo in there. Not sure what happened. Any suggestions for a motherboard? That's the only piece of hardware that completely confuses me.
The graphics card you showed me, how is the 256MB one better than the 512? That's confusing me. Thanks though, great suggestions. I'm definitely using the HDD you showed me. |
