oi. i need a lotta help!

hey, my names aj. i'm building my own computer. now, i like computers. i like 2 use them. but all i know how to do is use the software in it. i can't write software, i just use it. i can't build comps, i just use them. which brings me to my plea.

I have compiled a list of the stuff i want to put in my computer, but i have no way of telling if they are compatible. does anyone know how to check? can u post or email me?

and another thing, i know i need to buy software for this. but will just buying like a vista package do it? don't u need software to run that stuff? after starting this i have very rudimentary knowledge of computers (i'm only 15!) and i'd like to learn more. thanks to anyone who can help

Re: oi. i need a lotta help!

the tower you listed comes with no power supply which is the best way to go
but you have not listed a power supply

My System

Re: oi. i need a lotta help!

Well first off you picked some really nice parts but there are some problems. That motherboard doesn't support that Phenom processor , it only supports the Athlon 64 X2 / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64. And the dvd drive you picked is only a rom drive and wont be able to burn cd's or dvd's. And dai was correct when he said the case does not come with a power supply.

Re: oi. i need a lotta help!

the power supply you are pointing to,it's only useful use would be as a doorstop
for what you posted you need a quality supply
