[SOLVED] No Display on Boot, Please Help.

Hi,
I bought a new motherboard, Gigabyte 965GM-DS2, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 400GB Sata 2 HDD and an nVidia 8500 GT PCI-E card for a new computer i'm putting together. Once i had everything together in the case, I hit the Power button and everything inside the enclosure starts to run, CPU Fan and Case fans, however i'm staring at the monitor waiting for the BIOS to show itself...but nothing happens. The light on my monitor is still orange (Standby) and nothing appears to be happening. I have the monitor connected to the VGA port on the 8500.

Is there a problem with the motherboard? I've assembled PC's before and this has never occurred. Any help would be much appreciated =]

Thanks in advance,
Heinrich

Re: No Display on Boot, Please Help.

Sorry, but i've found the problem. It was a faulty stick of RAM. Which i didn't expect as it was brand new.
