My PC build is ready just need 1 last question answered.
Im currently building a PC (around $2100) and I need something answered for the Video Card.
I had originally chosen this 8800GTX: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130072 A lot of people are saying the this one is faster and better, and cheaper by like $50. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814186021 I have never heard of that brand before but people seem to say its nice. What can you recommend between these? Or maybe even another brand thats better? All i know is i want an 8800GTX and the Ultra is too expensive. thanks! Last edited by qwat : 10-26-2007 at 05:06 PM. |

Foxconn card is faster and a better performer than the EVGA card as its overclocked.
EVGA card has good support, return and warranty policy but is not a better performer (unless you overclock it). |

Re: My PC build is ready just need 1 last question answered.
I would go with the eVGA and then overclock it if extra performance is necessary. With the 8800GTX you likely won't feel it necessary to overclock it because it is already very powerful.
Also, you might want to wait until the 8800GT becomes more common and then just get two and throw them in SLi provided you have an SLi board.
