Power needed?
I am going to build a new PC with these:
-Asus M2NB2-SLI AM2 590SLI ATX AMD motherboard -G.Skill 2GB(2 1GB sticks) DDR2 800 -Seagate Beracuda 250GB 7200 SATA3.0 -AMD Athlon XP2 6400+(3.2GHZ) AM2 -EVGA 320 MB 8800GTS PCI Express x16 According to a few different "calculators" I found it is saying this build will be around 450-520 watts on average. Is that correct? I was going to get a 600watt power supply just in-case(or for upgrades/another video card). Plus of course, NIC/sound cards/fans/etc. Thanks for any help! |

Re: Power needed?
HawMan is correct. You won't be able to pull that graphics card with a 500 watt Power supply. That thermaltake toughpower 750 is a great supply.
