Re: Computer build

Will I would suggest you wait give some time so we can recommend some stuff. From just looking at the video card you have choosen you will not be able to run new games coming out smoothly. Also AMD is good but Intel is better at the moment. With a 7900GS I don't think you will be able to run Crysis to good.

Also a budget would be good to know as well as if your overclocking anything. I would highly recommend buying a cheap Intel with 1.86Ghz and overclocking to 3.0Ghz.

Re: Computer build

Intel is up top for gaming just now, I would look at Intel Conroe E6550 along with the Gigabyte GA P35C DS3R. Also like themisiek1 says, the 7900gs is a good card, but for crysis you will be struggling. Also look at the Antec trio 550W, although more is always better, so if you have more $$$ get the Thermaltake toughpower 750W or the PC Power & Cooling units.

Re: Computer build

Reason I did say that the 7900GS would not run Crysis to good is because my friend has a 7950GT 512MB and gets about 25-30FPS on medium GFX ingame.

CRYSIS DEMO COMES OUT TOMORROW OCTOBER 26TH, 2007!

Re: Computer build

You will need a good card like an 8800GT for Crysis; the 7900GS will struggle. What is your budget?
