Bin files are usually used by applications to burn / create CDs. Examples of these apps are Nero and EZ CD Creater. You can download a copy of nero (eval ) here:

Are you sure you have the video file and not the link, check the size of the file, it should be pretty large, I cant see why a video file would have a .bin extention.
If you are sure you want to try to play the file, double click on it when windows asks you to associate the file with an excutable scroll down the list to media player and double click on it. Make sure to remove the check next to the option "Associatite this extention with this file in the future" or something like that anyway in case it realy is not a movie file. If when it loads the media player it gives you an error, that means it is not a video file. Unless your trying to view some DVD type CD and I have no experience with DVD disk Tech. so then someone else will have to help you. :)

Okay..apparently the original post has been abandoned, but My post is here if anyone wants to take a look..I'm too lazy to retype it but I believe .bin is short for binhex... a proprietary format on mac, such as .zip for PC. but Tech is right if it's really a video file you'd think it would be pretty big, so...I dunno but it's worth a shot. Hope I'm not mistaken on this (I have a rep to maintain you know....LOL:happyroll)
