ghost
I'm setting up a puter for my mom
she is over 60 and lives over an hour away I partitioned the hd into 2 partitions on the first partitions is all the op system and programs on the 2nd partition is a ghosted file of her 1st partition i'm trying to make a boot disk that will automatically reload her c: drive from her d drive ( 2nd partition) so if she has a problem all i have to do is say put in your floppy disk and restart the puter i can reghost it manually, but i need it to happen with no user input I've tried the emamples in the ghost manual, but they don't apply exactly to my situation, and everything i try to alter isn't working any suggestions here is the string i am trying now Ghost.exe –clone,mode=pload,src=d:\test.gho:1,dst=1:1 thanks |

well if you knew my mom
she is really green i gave her the first puter when she was 59 she is now 64 and she has messed it up quite a bit she has grandkids ( worst virus known to mankind ) she is 90 minutes away and i drove 3 hours one night after a 10 hour work day, just to push her power button for her so the idea of fixing a trashed windows mess, remotely is nice |
