XP lite utility from litepc.com

Anyone else out there using this software? I installed it and am having many problems. It is supposed to remove some of the bloat from WinXP according to user preferences (stuff like accessibilty options, Outlook, IE, etc).

I have submitted two support requests with this outfit and have received NOTHING but notification emails. The first one was 3 weeks ago.

I did a lot of research on this software before buying it. It did have good reviews, but now I feel the lack of support and problems should be made known.

This utility has the ability to turn off Windows File Protection and can be dangerous.

I think you about summed up your own question there. As with all 'trimming', it's dependant on the user and it's uses and so what works for some software may not be good for others. You may be better off using the 'uninstall programs' app in windows to trim down what you don't need, at least then if you want it back, or have a problem it's an easy fix.
I've heard of several complaints with this software, it's just never going to be compatible with all of the 3rd party apps installed on everyone's computer.
