Kazaa Lite K++

I have just installed Kazaa Lite K++ and the first music I downloaded was fine. Since then only the first little bit of each one I've tried has been downloaded even though it shows that the download was completed. When I play it, that little bit just plays over and over again. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be so much appreciated.

PEER TO PEER pirate

Now that I have degraded pirating I can now help you without a feeling of guilt.

Many people spoof on KAZAA especially people trying to stop you from pirating, so you probably just downloaded a blank file or a corrupted file of some sort.

Thank you for your reply. I have downloaded the same popular song from about 15 different sources and the same thing happens each time. Every song I've tried since the first one, the only successful one, has downloaded the only first 30 seconds and when played, just repeats this short bit over and over again. It is so frustrating!

you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the p2p.

Hi Scali,

Sometimes the bad file has been downloaded by everyone else, so it just gets passed on if its not deleted from your share file. I Have had problems with kazza in the past under Xp and wouldnt use it. More importantly and unfortunatly its packed with ad-ware and spyware. "Bear share", on the other hand works fine and has less spyware. You can Pay a sub and get the adware free version, if you feel the need.

Get Ad-Aware SE and spybot S&D

Hi Mgj

Thank you so much for your advice. I've been a bit afraid to download any file sharing programs, but this one Kazaa Lite K++ came highly recommended as having no problems. Its supposed to have no ads or spy problems. It certainly doesn't have any ads and I've run my spyware after using it and there haven't been any show up.

If you'd like to have a look at it, I could send you the exe file

much welcome. (although i despise p2p, i have used almost all of them on almost all operating systems.)

limewire seems to be the most free of spyware, but is sorta slow. there is also a version of limewire for linux.

Limewire is good stuff escpecially since I use linux. (and my good consious says "Pirating is evil") (and my evil concious says "Just look at his pile of pirated software and music, pirating is here to stay for the 31337")

No No NO pirating is evil don't listen to the evil dude on my shoulder

Edit: NoOoOoOoooooOooOOoOoOoo he is forcing me to post from pirated XP profesional box.

Edit: Angel Man knocks evil dude off shoulder and forces me to post from freeware linux box like a good hacker.
