mcafee firewall 4 blocking SOME URL's.
Hiya,
After installing a Dynamode router at home (conexant chipset) & Ethernet card, mcafee firewall 4 is blocking some webpages, but not others. aol.co.uk opens fine, but google.com returns a message I'm being hit by a 'fragment attack' by firewall. The message in the log reads... "McAfee Firewall automatically blocked incoming traffic from IP address 64.233.161.104. You have configured McAfee Firewall to always block traffic to or from this address. The IP protocol type was 6 [TCP]. The remote address associated with the traffic was 64.233.161.104. The network adapter for the traffic was "3Com EtherLink XL 10/100 PCI TX NIC (3C905B-T". It's definately some setting within firewall, as if I 'allow all' traffic, then there's no problem. About as useful as a kick in the *insert body region here*! I can't see where I've set it to block traffic from this site, or other settings it could be referring to. Can anyone suggest why this is occurring? Many thanks, babylon303. |
