needs some programs for onsite services....

I started my own onsite computer tech bussines here locally about 8 months ago, and wanted to know what programs I should have on my 1 gig usb pocket drive or even to burn on cd for pc issues? Issues are just basically common ones like: spyware, viruses, pc running slow and sluggish etc.

Also a regular customer uses outlook express for email and is there a program or way to prevent spam mail going into thier inbox?

thax.....

My System

First and foremost you should burn a boot CD with all your favourite maintenace and repair programs so that, in the case of a seriously disrupted system, you can boot to the CD and run the programs. There are good semi pre-made ones out there, such as the Ultimate Boot CD and the UBCD for Windows. Basically it just uses BartsPE and "plugins" to create a customizable boot CD that can include, among many things, antivirus and antispyware solutions.

There are programs out there, both commercial and free, to filter spam. Two popular examples of free ones are MailWasher and SpamAssassin which work quite well.
