How to make my own troubleshooter?
Hi, I've just joined a business as IT support and we get the same problems queries over and over.
I would like to create my own troubleshooter for the employees and was wondering what the best way to do this would be? I could of course create the longest word document ever but that would be impracticle to say the least. What I would like is something basic where the employee types in a search term or browses and it comes up with the solution that I have written. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance, Leigh |

If you want to set up a FAQ, you can take a look at FAQMasterFlex: http://www.lethalpenguin.net/design/faqmasterflex.php. I've never used it, but it's the only FAQ software that I know of that's free. All you need is a web server that allows PHP/mySQL.
You might also want to consider installing a Wiki and using that as a help tool for your techs/customers. There are many out there and I haven't tried any, so I don't know which one to recommend. Try a few and see if they meet your needs.
