Problem with C&C3

Just bought this game and have found out it will only install on my C: drive. What I really want it to do is to install on my Western Digital 1TB MyBook Essential USB 2.0 External Hard Drive, I had no problems putting Battle Field 2 on it which is why I've come here. How would one go about doing it?

When ever you are installing a game, there is an option where you can choose where to install. I believe thats the option you are looking for?

Re: Problem with C&C3

External drive, eh? Maybe that's why you're getting the error message. I think you can usually only install to fixed hdds - i.e. internal, not USB.

Is there a way to "trick" the game into installing on a USB drive?
