bf2 drive destination problem
can anyone help.Im trying to install battlefield 2 on a second sata drive D but keep getting a message saying that destination drive is unsafe.
running vista ultimate 32 bit operating system on 150gb rapter D drive western digital 500gb both drives sata |

It could be that the HDD is removable. Some SATA ports on a motherboard can be used for external HDD's and are able to be removed while the PC is on. Have you configured any security settings on that drive?
Have you ran "dskchk /p" to look for error?

cheers for the info but i think i ve solved this problem.I payed around in the D drive properties and apparently you have to set the drive to be shared in order to access it.Bf2 seems to have installed ok .Thanks anyway.
