Reinstall problems

I accidentally erased a game instead of uninstalling it and now i cant reinstall it. (guitar hero 3)
how can i remove it from my computer.
(i tried "add or remove programs" it didn't work.)
sorry if this isnt the right forum for this i just wasn't sure.

This should work like 90%

-Go to Start--->Run--->Regedit
-Click on the Edit option at the top--->click on "Find..."--->type in Guitar Hero 3
Note: The cause is that your registry is linking your computer to non existant files, so this is how you delete that link
- Look to the left and see if there is a Guitar Hero 3 folder, delete it and reboot your computer then try reinstallation

It didn't seem to work.
Maybe I did something wrong.
It still asks me if a want to modify,repair , or remove.

i found some stuff in the left like aspyr (maker of guitar hero 3) and deleted it but nothing remotley like guitar hero 3.
