Counter-Strike: Source FPS issues

ok, so heres the deal, my computer has amd athalon 64 3500+, 1 gig dual channel kingston ram, and a GeForce 6100 onboard graphics, with 128 mb frame buffer. i play counter strike source on highest settings, 1024x768 and get barely 30 fps.

My other computer: Pentium 4 w/ HT 3.4 gHz, 512 MB kingston value ram, GeForce mx 4000. On counter strike source, highest graphics, 1024x768, i get almost 50 fps constantly. The only diff is, the amd comp is on directx 9 and my intel computer is on directx7 cuz thats what the graphix uses i guess... how do i get directx7 for my amd to use in CS:S? cuz.. im pretty sure that makes all the difference, but prove me if im wrong!!!

The graphics chip on your board is what is really hurting you. As Poisonfish mentioned it'd be advised to pickup a new card and use that instead.
