Red Alert 2 Eva Lag/Freeeze
Today I bought Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (in the Sold Out series). And I installed it, then ran the patch installer (the latest one was included).
The game runs fine, but everytime Eva (the computer lady helper :P) says something (like "Unit Lost", "Unit Ready" or "Construction Complete") it freezes for about 2 seconds then continues and Eva speaks. Any thoughts as to what the problem might be? Thanks. |

Do you have a DirectSound compatible soundcard? Try updating your soundcard driver.
If that doesn't help, go to Start > Run and type dxdiag, go to the Sound1 tab and drop the Hardware Acceleration level from Full to Standard, then click the 'Test DirectSound' button.
