If you have a 360 controller you can DL the drivers to use it as a PC game controler. its sorta like how they have teh regular xbox controllers. From what I hear its pretty awesome. Im thinking of picking one up so I can some fighting games on my pc.

Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent controller, but not very good for PC gaming in my opinion for a few reasons:
  1. The cord length is quite long - almost too long. Good for consoles, not so good for PC gaming
  2. When you map buttons in games to "Button 6" and "Button 9" it's all well and good, but what are buttons 6 and 9? You have no idea until you try it out in game....
  3. Don't bother getting the PC version of the 360 controller - the only difference is it comes with a driver/software disk (which can be downloaded for free from the MS website) and it's $5 more expensive.
  4. Games mostly don't support the vibration feature of it, so it feels kinda dead in your hands
  5. Want to use the wireless version? Well, you can't. Why? Because Miscrosoft say so.

I got an adapter to use my PS1/2 controllers on my PC and I love it! It also supports the vibration function for the DualShock series so it's more interactive.

Shieza, you may never have heard of it yet, but Microsoft obviously have..... I'm guessing that 'a nerd' would be Bill Gates then?
