cant install any new games

i got a new system
amd 3800+ x2 64
2 6800 gt 256 cards
asus a8n32-ski deluxe
1 gig ram

problem is this.....no games will auto install all the way
painkiller
serious sam 2
now f.e.a.r

each install i either freeze my puter right off or get to disc 2 and it stalls .always different

any help would be much appriciated,,,,,,,,,james

Well, I really don't know if that could be it, but I had a somewhat similar issue, which was resolved by converting my hard disk from fat32 to ntfs.
Again, maybe that doesn't make any sense and your drive is already ntfs, in which case please disregard. Otherwise, well you might want to try that...
