Lose Sound while playing games.
Hey, I had loads of problems with my onboard sound, so I used an old sound card which didnt work, I then went out and bought a new sound card, and it works, I get sound I can do anything and still have sound except play some games, so far its Half life 2, counter strike source, and far cry, that when I play I lose sound, and when i exit i need to change my spekaer setting in windows back to quadrophonic, then i get my sound back. Ive tried doing this in the games, setting it to 4 speakers and 5.1 speaker, but i get nothing, no sound.
