Hi,
Might be a wise idea to monitor temps for both at-rest and under-stress and report them back to us. Also, you need to check the output from your power supply and report that back. Here is a free download that can help you do that: Sandra Lite Utility http://www.download.com/3000-2086-10018691.html or Speedfan will tell you the temperatures and a whole lot more. It's free http://www.sofotex.com/SpeedFan-download_L4655.html or http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

Hi,
Are the temps at-rest (just running idle) or under-stress (playing a stressful game)??????. What we should see is temps at idle someplace below 35c and under stress probably under 50c to 53c max for this CPU. I would suspect that the thermal solution is not done correctly. What did you use to put it together, the factory pad or Artic Silver? What temps do you see under stress if you are reporting at-rest temps? Oh, one last thing, you do have your CPU fan blowing down, don't you? Also, might want to tell us what case cooling you are using like what fans, blowing which direction.....you get the picture. Get back to us with this information and we will try to give you some things to consider in solving at least the heat issue.
