Ok, I'm trying to run a game but when I load the disc it just isn't recognised at all it's as if there is no disk in the drive. I have a matshita cd rw cw-8572 drive. I really don't know where to look. A lot of older games ive bought have the same problem where the drive just doesn't see that theres a disk in there. Audio cds, dvds etc all play with no problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to start looking to fix this problem. I'm running Win XP and have an AMD Athlon Xp2000+ processor. Also have Realteck Audio AC'97 device.
