Nhl 2006 Issue: Plz Help

I just got NHL 2006 and installed it, installation went pretty well. Then i go ingame to just play a game to see how it is. Its loading, goes into the preview, when it says whos playing who. I press a key and the game closes itself. So i wait the next time and i dont press anything, takes threw pre game and highlights, then goes to centre ice and closes again. Can anyone help me? I just updated my video driver today and still nothing works.

i have the same problem, if you ever get the game to work please tell me what you did

I have similar problems... EA Sports has just gone to **** recently. Everytime I try to simulate games I get dumped out. EDITING LINES is a disaster - when I dress a certain player it automatically puts him on almost every line (especially certain goaltenders - it will put them on every line WTF) Some lines I'll put a guy at center and it will put him on the wing as well and there's no way around it it seems... AND Atlanta - no matter what I do to the lines, when they play its always back to "best lines"... Ive about had it with EA... AND they wont reply to my questions! Any ideas? thanks...
