Battlefiled 2 MD5 error - Cant' install

Hi

I've tried everything, but nothing seems to work.

I can't install battlefield 2...
The installations interupts several times, reporting an MD5 error.

I've tried out these things, but nothing seems to work:

I've formated the PC, and installed a fresh copy of windows XP

I've installed the fresh copy of windows XP on a new hard drive (just in case the HD had some bad sectors etc)

I've changed DVD-rom, (just in case it was the drive)

I've bought another original battlefield 2 game, (just in case the dvd was scratched).

My brother has successfully installed the same game on his pc!

Nothing is working.

Please help me!!! i want to play Battlefield 2!

My system specs are:

CPU - Inter core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2.33 Ghz
2 GB of ram
video card - NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT 1024mb

Hi and welcome to TSF,
Could i get you to run a memtest from here : http://www.memtest.org/
I think maybe some of your RAM is dodgy and thats what is causing the MD5 error.
Thanks.
