FSX Menu Problem

I recently installed Microsoft Flight Simulator X Gold Edition. I have only had one problem with it. The drop down menus look like bar codes and I can not read them. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Nvidia 6800GT vid card

Re: FSX Menu Problem

Hi and welcome to TSF,
In the nvidia control panel, is your screen set to the highest resolution possible?
If not, change it to that and then try re-launching the game.

Re: FSX Menu Problem

Hi floop12444,
Thank you for the welcome. I tried turning the resolution up to the point that my monitor couldn't handle it and there was no change in the way the menus display.

Thank you,

Bob

Re: FSX Menu Problem

New driver did the trick. I didn't think they were that that old but apparently they were. I appreciate your taking time to help me with this issue. I just didn't think it was the video driver because everything else rendered fine. I will be sure and update more often.
Thank you very much,
Bob41
