[SOLVED] Minimizes

Im having problems with my games and some programs, whenever i start a game it minimizes whenever i click to maximize it minimizes again and in about 10 tries i can finally play. Same thing with a screensaver.

I've searched online for something similar but everyone seems to have a problem with games minimizing while they play.

I know i have no viruses or spyware etc.. Im running Vista, 3gb ram, 2,2ghz-dual core, video- radeon 3850hd

Any ideas? Its just so anoying having to play all the games Window mode

Hello and welcome to TSF
try to disable the Screen Saver (just put it to "None") and see if that helps
also make sure that there is no program running in the background that is taking the CPU attention while playing a game

Hi.

Do what RockmasteR has said first, but also, could you please start task manager, click the "Processes" tab and take a screenshot of the running processes. If there are more processes than will fit inside the default size window, simply take multiple screenshots. (A new one for each window of processes).

Thanks for that. You have a lot of junk processes hogging your system resources. Go here and do the first half of what is listed on that page. Stop after you read this line:

Then click "Apply", "Ok", "Restart". This will return all Services and Startup options back to the original settings!

Please do all of the things listed very specifically. Do not skip steps, and read the each step carefully.

Iv'e done everything on the guide up to the point that you mentioned, And it has helped now games start normally without minimizing
