starcraft + windows7
Hello!
I have recently upgraded to Windows 7, and I am having some issues. The color issue isn't really a big deal. I can deal with that, what my problem is that 5-10 minutes into a multiplayer game, whether it be a LAN or a Battle.net game, I get a hard-lock on my pc. I cannot alt-tab, I can't ctrl+alt+delete, I can't do anything. The music is still running, but nothing else is working.. complete freeze. I have noticed that if I'm on skype, I can still talk and hear the other person, which leads me to believe this MAY be a Nvidia Driver issue, or DirectX causing the driver to fail. I have tried to kill the explorer.exe and run the game, didnt work. I have also tried to run in compatability mode, which also doesnt work. I have also tried them both at the same time, and still I get the lock. This stinks big time! any ideas? I am using the 8600 GT, Updated drivers on all of my hardware, the chipset, the lan, the sound... everything.. Also latest direct x. |

Re: starcraft + windows7
Hi, Thanks
RAM 2 gb CPU x4 2.4Ghz Quad Q6600 Gigabyte GA-P35 Geforce 8600 64 bit Realtek integrated. But I'm exactly sure it is not hardware specs issue. Many people who use windows7 got this problem. Btw, compability mode doesn't help :) Thanks Last edited by squimn; 11-07-2009 at 09:20 PM. |

I'm sorting this issue as well. If I find anything I'll post it in this thread.
