Lag issues
Hi there,
I am having issues with lag whilst gaming. At first I thought it was due to the fact that I am running wireless at my place but I realized that it is occurring during both games like WoW (I still am guessing this is due to the wireless), and when I play games such as Bloodbowl and Fallout 3 offline. I have increased my ram from 1Gig to 4Gig (only shows 3Gig as being present) - same problem. Upgraded graphics card to a Geforce 9500 GT - same problem. Changed power supply - same problem. Am continually checking temperatures and they are constant at around 32 deg celcius. I am really at a loss as to what is going on and some of my friends that are more knowledgeable on PC's have pretty much given up on why the problem persists. Am hoping someone can help me out. Re: Lag issues
Just thought I had better add that the lag looks as though it is spooling. I get lag or slow frame rate for about 10-15 seconds generally followed up by a blur of speed followed by about 30 seconds of regular graphics. Then the whole lag cycle starts again.

Re: Lag issues
Hello and welcome to TSF
download and install the AMD Dual Core Optimizer from here: http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/dyna...42f&ItemID=153 also download SIW from my sig, open it and choose "Sensors" under "Hardware" check the temps. play the game for about 10 to 15 mins or when the lag starts, minimize it and recheck the temperatures again. please post both temp states (idle, under stress)
