[SOLVED] Some help please..

Computer : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4
Processor: 2.80 GHz
RAM : 512 MB
Graphics card: AGP slot 512 MB
ATI radeon hd2600 pro
Features:
Supports direct X 10
Shader Model 4.0
Dual dvi

I haven't got the graphics card yet, though I'm looking forward to get it..but before I get it I need some help from my fellows please...

If I get this graphics card, will my PC run new games such as:
The Sims 3 (Y/N)
Ashes Cricket 09 (Y/N)
Prototype (Y/N)

Hello!

Just before I say anything more, your computer is very old and really outdated. A Pentium 4 won't run many newer games, and any graphics card you get will be restricted because it will be AGP.

You almost certainly won't be able to play Prototype properly, as it requires 1 Gig RAM, a Core 2 Duo/Athlon X2 and a stronger graphics card. It's a fairly graphically and CPU intensive game and your P4 would not be up to it.

With the new graphics card you would be able to play the Sims 3 if you got more RAM. It has 1 Gig as the recommended requirements. The same thing can be said for Ashes Cricket 09.

Hmm..But the new graphics card and a 1GB RAM on the same system may help me to play 50 % of the new games and the remaining might run but not perfectly..correct?

If you get the new graphics card and extra RAM, you'll be able to play The Sims 3 and AC09 and other games with similar requirements, but not much more than that.

If you don't meet the requirements for a game then you won't be able to run it.
