recording gameplay on computer

I need help recording gameplay on Combat Arms, Crossfire and Sudden Attack. I tried doing it myself but it doesn't seem to work properly. Does anyone know how to record gameplay with high quality.

Xfire not compatible with Crossfire or Combat Arms.

Re: recording gameplay on computer

Should work with crossfire, always worked for me. Combat arms is whole other story...I remember they patched fraps not to work or some other game recorder. I don't know if they ever fixed that. I don't know any other fully free ones, you can try gamecam but I think it's trail mode leaves a big gamecam icon in your gameplay.

Basically any free recording software is going to leave a watermark on your videos. - The people who make the software don't do it for nothing. You can try Hypercam as well.

Re: recording gameplay on computer

Xfire is the only one that doesn't leave anything. I have used it for recording and it even converts the file too, and uploads it to xfire...

Re: recording gameplay on computer

many users reported that WeGame is better than Fraps and Xfire, and it's free but it still in BETA
I used it and it gave me a BEX crash
you can try it but see what happens

Re: recording gameplay on computer

I recommend Fraps, which has already been posted. Hypercam will work, but I prefer Fraps over Hypercam, and both of them are free.

Re: recording gameplay on computer

I currently use Fraps for recording my games. WeGame is better AND FREE, except for I can't use it when I'm not connected to the Internet. Xfire is pretty good too, but same problem, need Internet connection, even when recording single player games. 6 days out of the week, I am not connected. You might try Growler Guncam, although it's not free.

Re: recording gameplay on computer

I recorderd Combat Arms with Plato Screen Recorder. It's ok but when I record it the video stutters. The video doesn't play regularly. Can anyone help. The video file is attached to the link. Here is the link. You might have to download the video. Sorry I can't put as a attachment.
