Need For Speed: Shift; No Crossfire?

I started playing Need For Speed: Shift yesterday and for some reason, my Crossfire isn't working. I know I could be getting a lot higher FPS out of this game, and sometimes there is a little bit of stuttering during crashing into walls/cars/stuff, so I checked to see if my second GPU was working, and it wasn't. I have my CCC open on my secondary monitor sitting on my secondary GPU and the activity sits at 0 and the clocks sit at 500/500 while the main one goes up in activity and has 750/900 clocks. I also turned on the Crossfire Indicator which usually puts up a small icon in the corner of the screen when crossfire is enabled..it's not there.

My system specs are:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
23" 1080p LG Monitor(Main monitor)
19" Hanns-G 1440x900(Secondary Monitor)
1.5 TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 HDD
8GB OCZ Reaper HPC Edition DDR2 RAM (I know, I know, I need DDR3 =/)
AMD Phenom X4 Deneb 3.00GHz Quad Core

Thank you for any suggestions.

Re: Need For Speed: Shift; No Crossfire?

There has already been a patch released for NFS:Shift, but this only adds LAN and mouse support, nothing to do with Crossfire or SLI. Hopefully the next patch will fix this problem.

Ok so i got NFS:Shift today, been looking forward to it for a while. So first thing i did was go into options and set everything to max (4xAA, 1680). I then played it, at some points the fps was dropping to 11fps. So after that i decided to disable crossfire to see how it ran. To my surprise it actually ran a fair bit better still not great

i've just been over to the shift forum and loads of other people are having the same problems. It seems to be with ATI cards only and resolutions over 1440x900.

Yup sounds similar to mine. When im only using one card i get about 25 fps at the start of the race with all the other cars infront, but once ive passed them it goes up to about 50-60 fps.. But still when i enable crossfire my fps almost halves
I'm playing it at 1400x900 with an old 3ghz dual core CPU, 2gb DDR2 RAM and a single 512mb 8800GT on high graphics settings with VSync enabled, and get about 40-60fps with no lag.
